Attempts to play a .wav file produce 'invalid argument' for the
/dev/dsp device

Fix: 

None
How-To-Repeat: Use 'play' for a .wav file on my machine.
This has not worked since a clean install of 4.2 from CD.

dmesg, cat /dev/sndstat, pnpinfo, kernel config.
