Created attachment 215330 [details] festival-freebsoft-utils.patch Neither the base iconv nor /usr/local/bin/iconv from the libiconv package support the -o flag, so the festival server was not working when running speech-dispatcher code. i.e. the iconv help code would be printed, and festival would not get the converted text in the file it expects.
