Example config makes use of in-built STUN,  but
STUN/TURN support is disabled by default.  Compiling
erlang/otp takes such a long time.  Would you consider
enabling it by default?

Hi,

Sorry I didn't see your PR in time. I just committed[1] an update to enable it by default on request of another reporter.

It doesn't by default, and there is a preference / default position of not modifying features/functionality in the quarterly branch

Having said that, one can re-open the issue and request a merge of ports r545057 using the merge-quarterly flag set to (?)
