Description dias.joaocarlos 2020-09-15 12:07:17 UTC
When installing FreeBSD 12.1 (i386), the installer couldn't find /boot/loader/loader.lua and gave error, going to the OK prompt. The ls command showed a empty directory...

I was installing in an old PC with Pentium M... But I think this is not the problem...

Reassign, it has been mistakenly assigned as a ports issue.
Comment 2 Ed Maste freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2023-03-22 00:08:08 UTC
Is this still reproducible on any current releases (12.3, 12.4, 13.1, or the in-progress 13.2)?

A user on reddit ran into this with 13.2: https://www.reddit.com/r/freebsd/comments/122ituh/latest_132_isos_broken_for_me_did_somebody_keep/
