P.S. I am also completely okay with just dropping the "Created by" lines. In my opinion, they do not serve any useful purpose anymore. Yes you can remove the "created by" line, from the porters handbook: In some cases, the Makefile of an existing port may contain additional lines in the header, such as the name of the port and the date it was created. This additional information has been declared obsolete, and is being phased out. If you don't have a port bit: approved by: mikael (port committer) Thanks! Created attachment 218612 [details] the suggested change In some ports I am a maintainer, in some I am only mentioned as a port's creator. The reason for the change is that I am moving away from icyb.net.ua mail service for a variety of reasons.
