Description sega01 2020-11-10 04:09:38 UTC
I can boot 12.2-RELEASE AMD64 via USB just fine, but if I burn it to a DVD I cannot boot it successfully on a Thinkpad R400 or R500. I get this error:

ERROR: cannot open /boot/lua/loader.lua: no such file or directory

The exact same DVD works fine on a Dell T5400 desktop, however. My 12.1-RELEASE DVDs boot just fine on the Thinkpad R400 and R500.

^Triage: I'm sorry that this PR did not get addressed in a timely fashion.

By now, the version that it was created against is long out of suppoprt.
Please re-open if it is still a problem on a supported version.
