Created attachment 221796 [details] git diff 2.1.5 -> 2.1.7 New upstream 2.1.7 release. This splits libnotcurses into libnotcurses-core and libnotcurses, the latter linking to heavyweight multimedia libraries (ffmpeg on FreeBSD). With this change, admins can install only the lightweight notcurses-core if they wish, and still run programs linked against it. I've not yet made this an option on FreeBSD; if we wanted to do so, notcurses ought be compiled with `-DUSE_MULTIMEDIA=none` in the absence of ffmpeg. `notcurses-view` has also been renamed `ncplayer`, which this diff reflects.
