Bug 254021

Summary: 13-BETA boot loader pauses for 50 seconds
Product: Base System Reporter: ota
Component: kernAssignee: freebsd-bugs (Nobody) <bugs>
Status: Closed Overcome By Events
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: ---
Version: 13.0-STABLE
Hardware: i386
OS: Any

Description ota 2021-03-05 03:54:08 UTC
Consoles: internal video/keyboard
 BIOS driveC: is disk0

After selecting which partition to boot and displaying above output, loader takes 10 second to display the following output:
disk0: Read 32 sector(s) from 224 to 0x74670 ( 0x7e670 ): 0x10

Then after displaying disk0: above, loader takes 40 more seconds to start loading the kernel.

With 12.2-RELEASE, these steps completed instantly.

The below is first part of dmesg. I am not sure what other information will be helpful and only grabbed first parts. Please mention if other outputs/info will be helpful.
