bzip2 became part of FreeBSD base system since 4.4-RELEASE (September 2001), almost 20 years ago, and there is no other ports depending on archivers/bzip2.

The port system expects /usr/bin/bzip2 and expects base system tar to recognize it; bzip2 1.0.7 introduced a quite visible regression with decompression, and the port wasn't updated for 2 years, so I believe there is no real users of it and the port should be removed.

Requesting maintainer approval.

Denied, for exactly the same reasons I’ve stated in the past, for this very port/package.
