Hello.
Update mysql 5.7.34 does not work correctly, it creates a heavy load on the server.
Be careful.
I had to roll back to the previous version mysql 5.7.33.
My system FreeBSD 12.2-RELEASE-p7 amd64.

After 2 weeks, I tried to update mysql again.
As before, after the update, the load is 100% of the processor from the mysql process.
How to be?
After returning to the version mysql 5.7.33, there is no load on the processor.
Something is wrong with mysql version 5.7.34.

At the time of the load of the processor is not in the log mysql error.

Hi,

same issue here, had to switch back to 5.7.33

using FreeBSD 12.2-RELEASE, apache 2.4, PHP 7.4

5.7.34 overloads server with 100% CPU (16 cores) and database is unusable

switching back to 5.7.33 solves problem

I have no problems on several machines with different FreeBSD versions, and without logs or further information I can't do anything here. Unfortunately I can not be clairvoyant :)
