dc eats memory like hell in a recursion. Other dc's (like solaris and
irix dc) don't do this

echo '[ p lb 2 + d sb + lax]sa 1sb 1 lax'|dc

This soon exhausts grows to > 60Mb, and then core dumps.

Please take this up with the GNU maintainers.  Our version 
of dc is almost completely unmodified, and we don't maintain 
it internally.
