Hi,

devel/tree-sitter doesn't install CLI component (tree-sitter binary). CLI is part of the source tar (cli directory).

That's correct. I didn't want to bring in rust as a depedency to build neovim.

I'd be in support of a slave port for tree-sitter-cli, so the CLI can be installed separately.

I'd welcome patches, but it's of no personal use to me so I won't be doing the legwork on it anytime soon. Shouldn't be too much work though, if you want to make a patch for it; rust apps largely build themselves.
