First observed with FreeBSD 14.0-CURRENT, reproducible with 13.0-RELEASE-p4 in VirtualBox.

I wondered whether a fix for this bug 258117 might reduce the likelihood of being bitten by high-impact bug 272664.

From what I saw earlier today: I suspect not.

More specifically, to the best of my recollection … after applying the multiple-step workaround (272664) in connection with an initial remote desktop session:

- a later wfica session began in windowed mode from the outset

- I saw time passing (seconds) in a clock in a panel in Plasma, which made
me imagine that it would be OK to attempt use of something other than
  the wfica window

- after straying from the wfica window, everything became unusable
  (bug 272664).

It's possible that this bug has become less troublesome in recent months.

If I recall correctly: when I last opened a remote desktop, the remote desktop was full screen (incorrect) but windowed.

So: the Plasma desktop environment was visible, but should be avoided for some time (to avoid bug 272664).

During this waiting period, it seemed safe to resize the Citrix window.

Maybe true then, certainly not true today.

Citrix began full-screen.

I switched to window mode, then took a screenshot. Reduced to greyscale, and then scaled down, for Bugzilla size purposes.
