*** Bug 260192 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This is the wrong way of doing this. You have to use pecl. Look at a port which has pecl extension or that starts with pecl-. Also add git diff rather than shar file. shar is still a valid way to submit according to the docs: https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/porters-handbook/quick-porting/#porting-submitting If that is no longer a valid method it needs to be removed from the documentation. (In reply to amistry from comment #4) Yes but the preferred method is not that. Plus while creating a new port it should be added to the <CATEGORY>/Makefile which cannot be done in shar method. So we expect git method; easier to handle. Looks like it's not in pecl. Have a look at one of this ports: https://www.freshports.org/search.php?stype=name&method=prefix&query=php-&num=10&orderby=category&orderbyupdown=asc&search=Search&format=plaintext&branch=head |
