State Changed From-To: open->closed The FreeBSD PR system is for bug reports. questions@FreeBSD.org is for technical support. When you created the FreeBSD slice in sysinstall, did you also mark it as 'active'? If not, and if you have not installed the FreeBSD boot manager (BootEasy), then your Master Boot Record quite correctly refuses to guess which of the available partitions you want to boot from.
