* the description might benefit from a general update, to mention 
  e.g. Windows 10 and so on

A side note re: the WWW URL, I'm also aware of 
<https://sourceforge.net/projects/ntfs-3g/>. 

Glancing _very_ briefly at e.g. authors' names at <https://sourceforge.net/p/ntfs-3g/ntfs-3g/ci/edge/tree/>, I suspect that whilst the SourceForge area is comparable, GitHub is the better point of reference for source code etc..

(Here, I may be confused … memories of the catacombae area of SourceForge – from around 2010, when was still a user of Mac OS X; <https://macntfs-3g.blogspot.com/2010/10/ntfs-3g-for-mac-os-x-2010102.html>.)

    sysutils/fusefs-ntfs: further improve the port (+)

    - Chase HTTP redirection when downloading the distfile
    - Simplify `libntfs-3g/Makefile.in' fixup: only inhibit
      useless `install-exec-hook' target, no need to adjust
      the order of includes
    - Drop another left-over patch which is no-op nowadays
    - Actualize WWW line (development happens on GitHub)

    sysutils/fusefs-ntfs: do not mention every supported Windows version

    Today "Windows XP and later" practically means any version, there is
    not much sense trying to list every supported system explicitly, and
    it's hard to keep this list accurate and up-to-date.
