Description Patrick McMunn 2022-01-14 22:32:21 UTC
I've tried using double quotes, single quotes, even using the octal value \040 to represent a space, and nothing seems to allow mountd to export a directory via NFS if a space is in the path. And everything I've found online so far says that mountd simply doesn't support spaces in the path. Support for spaces in the path really needs to be added. If it is supported in some manner, this needs to be in the documentation.

Does using a backslash to escape the space work?

Asking because I recently looked at the sources and vaguely remember that a backslash seems to escape nearly everything...
