I just rebuilt the kernel.

Now sendmail is much, much too slow.

It takes at least 1 min to send a message, to start, or to interact in 
any way whatsoever.

Not enough information for a valid bug report.  

However, kernel and userland must be in sync; try building world, 
not just a kernel.
