Is there any indication upstream that being broken with any particular version (3.9 in this case) is going to imply deprecation of the software? The port declares: python:3.6-3.8 implying no (current) support for anything > 3.8 (In reply to Kubilay Kocak from comment #1) When the ports tree will switch to Python-3.9, as asked in PR 261703 and as many Linux distributions already did, it will get BROKEN with the default Python. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/meliae/+bug/1899379 . This bug was reported on 2020-10-11, but no action has been taken. Besides, Meliae seems no longer maintained: see https://bugs.launchpad.net/meliae/+bug/1498436 . Just committed.
