this should be renamed to simply gnome instead of gnome3 The decision documented in the freshports package logs to make that name change of the "gnome3" package to "gnome" is imho an idiotic thing. It took almost one month until gnome reappeared in the repos. It was not available using pkg that whole time, neither as "gnome" nor as "gnome3", in latest as well as quarterly repos. The same goes with "xfce4" which has similiarly been renamed to "xfce", also reappeared only a month later, and still disappears from the pkg database from time to time. These useless name changes only frustrate users and should be avoided at all imho.
