Trying to install it on my laptop, boot freeze 3 times of 4 at the kernel begining. After to have finally install it, kernel alway freeze at boot time (but all the times now), last line is:
timecounter "18254"...

Fix: 

Disabling ACPI in my laptop bios
How-To-Repeat: reboot
