Description Graham Perrin freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2022-08-15 21:21:38 UTC
At a glance:

<https://docs.freebsd.org/en/articles/explaining-bsd/#what-is-bsd> reference to <http://www.x.org/> is outdated (HTTP, should be HTTPS).

<https://docs.freebsd.org/en/articles/explaining-bsd/#_how_is_bsd_developed_and_updated> grammar: "FreeBSD and NetBSD each have" is wrong.

<https://docs.freebsd.org/en/articles/explaining-bsd/#_bsd_releases> mentions SVN, which is outdated for (at least) FreeBSD.

<https://docs.freebsd.org/en/articles/explaining-bsd/#_what_versions_of_bsd_are_available> mentions Mac OS® X, which is not the most modern way of describing the OS (maybe still Mac OS X under the hood, but it's more commonly known as macOS). The reference to <http://www.apple.com/macosx/server/> is outdated; it curently redirects to <https://www.apple.com/macos/monterey/>.

Use of ® is excessive. It need not appear for every appearance, on the page, of the Mac OS X.

<https://docs.freebsd.org/en/articles/explaining-bsd/#_who_provides_support_service_and_training_for_bsd> three of the four links are outdated.

What else?
