Similar problem here with 13-STABLE (FreeBSD 13.2-STABLE #8 stable/13-n255361-b1e09025dfdb: Sun May 14 12:14:09 CEST 2023 amd64), hardware Lenovo T560 with i7-6600 CPU und HD 520 iGPU (PU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6600U CPU @ 2.60GHz (2807.99-MHz K8-class CPU, 16 GiB RAM). I have no coredump so far, although configured to drop into gdb, the notebook reboots - without any trace. Firmware/BIOS latest available installed. In my case the crash is triggered when starting windowmaker windowmanager. Using another WM, say twm or blackbox, mitigates the problem until starting memory consuming applications like firefox, claws-mail or other clients. Just in case this might help. (In reply to O. Hartmann from comment #1) > amd64 Better keep that separate from this i386 report, at least for now. Check <https://github.com/freebsd/drm-kmod/issues> before adding to Bugzilla. Thanks clarifying it is FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE releng/13.2-n254617-525ecfdad597 GENERIC i386 that panics / dies whenever attempting to load i915kms |
