<https://lists.freebsd.org/archives/freebsd-current/2023-August/004435.html>:

> New FreeBSD snapshots available: stable/14 (ALPHA3) (20230825 2af9390e54ed)

From the patch:

> +|`stable/14` |Open |committers |Development branch for FreeBSD 14-STABLE.

At this moment, maybe more accurate to say:

> … for FreeBSD 14.0-ALPHA3.

– or is 14.0-ALPHA3 technically _also_ 14-STABLE?

----

In any case: optimistically, I don't imagine an ALPHA4, and I guess that by the time this patch is committed, the patch content will be true. Or true enough.
