Thank you for the submission. Please check if you can submit patches in "git-format-patch" format in the future. This makes it easier to apply them. Created attachment 245843 [details]
7.0.2 v2
First time for this particular request but that's pretty easy to do indeed :)
Cheers,
Franco
Thanks. It's just easier to apply the patch this way. Before moving to git people have occasionally asked to avoid git patches or -p1 patches in particular. It's not a problem for me to do the git-format-patch consistently from now on. Thanks! Yeah, I guess with SVN it was harder to pry the patch out of a git commit. But now it's the other way round :-) A commit in branch main references this bug: URL: https://cgit.FreeBSD.org/ports/commit/?id=c01a420d27d2fc2d901c55387cd8cd64b33c16f3 commit c01a420d27d2fc2d901c55387cd8cd64b33c16f3 Author: Franco Fichtner <franco@opnsense.org> AuthorDate: 2023-10-24 02:40:18 +0000 Commit: Robert Clausecker <fuz@FreeBSD.org> CommitDate: 2023-10-27 06:32:11 +0000 security/suricata: update to 7.0.2 Changelog: https://redmine.openinfosecfoundation.org/versions/198 PR: 274668 security/suricata/Makefile | 3 +-- security/suricata/distinfo | 6 +++--- 2 files changed, 4 insertions(+), 5 deletions(-) Thank you for your contribution.
