I've tried version 7.2 when it came out but did not commit the update because of endless exceptions in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.InternalError: Surface not cachable*, severely impacting program's usage, if not making it impossible.  At that time I've reckoned it's some regression in the new version, but I'm now seeing the same with existing version 7.1 as well.  Wiping out ~/.eteks/sweethome3d did not help.  I'd like to resolve/mitigate this issue before updating the port.

Looks like there is no upstream activity on openjdg ticket. Any chance you can bump it (since last activity was 2021) ?
