Alderlake isn't well supported in 5.15-lts, you need to use CURRENT with 6.1-lts to have it working properly. Based on previous reports (see https://github.com/freebsd/drm-kmod/issues/252) i915kms will load fine without firmware but you won't have gpu acceleration. It's being loaded after the adlp firmware somewhere for whatever reason. |
