Hello, Thanks a lot foe your patch. I will look into it ASAP. Best regards, Ganael A commit in branch main references this bug: URL: https://cgit.FreeBSD.org/ports/commit/?id=8f86b9737ce64b1f757e49b78be2a86ddb9eed8f commit 8f86b9737ce64b1f757e49b78be2a86ddb9eed8f Author: kunda <luzpaz@pm.me> AuthorDate: 2024-05-05 17:04:38 +0000 Commit: Ganael LAPLANCHE <martymac@FreeBSD.org> CommitDate: 2024-05-05 17:06:55 +0000 sysutils/pv: Update to 1.8.9 Changelog: https://codeberg.org/a-j-wood/pv/src/tag/v1.8.9/docs/NEWS.md Port changes: - Use SSL for MASTER_SITES - Change license from ART20 to GPLv3+ - Remove obsolete option LFS - Switch to using a pkg-plist file PR: 278528 Reported by: kunda <luzpaz@pm.me> sysutils/pv/Makefile | 29 +++++++++++++---------------- sysutils/pv/distinfo | 6 +++--- sysutils/pv/pkg-plist (new) | 10 ++++++++++ 3 files changed, 26 insertions(+), 19 deletions(-) Hello, I've committed your patch, thanks for your contribution! (while here, I've also removed obsolete option LFS) (In reply to Ganael LAPLANCHE from comment #4) But it was Andrey's patch From: Andrey Korobkov <alster@vinterdalen.se> Faux pas ? Wow, my bad. Right... I made a mistake reporting author's address when committing modifications. Andrey, I am really sorry about that. Unfortunately, this is something that cannot be changed afterwards in git :/ Ganael. Ganael, no need to feel sorry: I'm not a bit sad but rather thankful to you for this case. Really, I don't like my own official name (have good reasons to) and have no official way to have it changed either (at least for many years). I know, the FreeBSD project have clear policy about using official names in all relations to the project and the community. This is also for reasons. But as I see from this case, using pseudonyms may also be an option in some circumstances. May it also be an option for me, please? More on this: https://drewdevault.com/2023/10/31/On-real-names.html Hello Andrey, I am not aware of a policy stating you absolutely have to use your real name to contribute to FreeBSD, at least for maintainers. IMHO, nothing prevents you from using the adress / pseudo of your choice when submitting patches. (this may be another story when becoming a committer) Cheers, Ganael. Thank you! Now I feel much better :) |
