Description anders 2001-06-03 17:10:02 UTC
Update gdm to the latest version, 2.2.2.1:

- XDMCP was broken in -stable, works now.
- Re-introduces Xsession session support (this is faily standard, and needed).
- Use the bzip2 distfile to reduce download time and storage requirement.
- Removes patch files/patch-ao.

Please, test updates to this port to avoid brokenness. If interesting for the
gnome maintainers, I can maintain this port as I use it quite a bit.

I'll take care of this one since I'm doing another sweep of the GNOME
metaport for a few updates, and will merge your gdm work into mine.

Thanks for the offer of maintainership, however it was a specific policy
decision to move maintainership of all primary ports that make up
both GNOME metaports to gnome@FreeBSD.org to ensure the integrity of
the system at all times.

Patch committed with slight modifications to the plist, and (for now)
sticking with the gzipped version of the port distfile - this will be
switched as part of a "whole-GNOME" exercise presently.
