Description Wassily 2024-09-11 22:27:54 UTC
Poudriere compiled this port without problems, but when I try to open okular, it display the following error:
"Unable to find the Okular component: Could not find plugin okularpart"
When I try to open trough the terminal, I receive this message :
"kf.coreaddons: "Could not find plugin okularpart"

I see this as well.

When run in a terminal I also see

> KQueueFileSystemWatcherEngine::addPaths: open: No such file or directory
> Kf.notifications: Failed to play sound with canberra: File or data not found

Which is almost certainly unrelated.

You can work around this with

QT_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/local/lib/qt6/plugins/kf6/parts okular

(In reply to Tavian Barnes from comment #2)

I can confirm this works for me. I've put it in a wrapper script which will keep me going until the problem is fixed in the package. I imagine we might be waiting until the transition from KF5 to KF6 for that.
