gettext has had a lot of fixes since 0.10.35 > a year ago (including
 security related fixes).
These patches upgraded the port to 0.10.38

Fix: cd ports/devel/gettext
rm files/patch-ae files/patch-af files/patch-ah files/patch-ai files/patch-ak
cvs rm files/patch-ae files/patch-af files/patch-ah files/patch-ai files/patch-ak

patch the following:

$ cvs diff -u

gettext-0.10.38 is, sadly, rather incompatible with gettext-0.10.35 
(and the 1,400+ ports that depend on it). 

We (portmgr@) are considering a number of options in order to bring it 
in under controlled conditions.
