![]() ![]() Not really my place to say, I know devel/bmake is semi maintained in NetBSD's pkgsrc for the benefit of non-NetBSD systems that use pkgsrc. That may be true of ports as well. If ports is only for FreeBSD, then I'd say the port is likely redundant, all supported FreeBSD branches have bmake in base, and you generally don't need the latest. I aim to keep the main branch in base up-to-date, but generally do not touch stable branches. A commit in branch main references this bug: URL: https://cgit.FreeBSD.org/ports/commit/?id=175fc07c840f5e4f7ac45d424928d497e127464d commit 175fc07c840f5e4f7ac45d424928d497e127464d Author: Daniel Engberg <diizzy@FreeBSD.org> AuthorDate: 2025-05-18 11:54:10 +0000 Commit: Daniel Engberg <diizzy@FreeBSD.org> CommitDate: 2025-05-18 12:18:33 +0000 devel/bmake: Deprecate and set expiration date to 2025-06-30 Outdated and redundant as bmake is a part of src PR: 286560 Approved by: maintainer timeout, 2+ weeks devel/bmake/Makefile | 3 +++ 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+) |
