While trying to install FreeBSD 4 on a Dell Optiplex 466/L the install fails. First error message is "Error mounting /mnt/dev/ad0s1f on /mnt/usr: Invalid argument"

If continuing install, it will crash crash while reading chunk 80 out of 137 saying: "panic: fss_valloc: dup alloc" and then reboot

Fix:

Using FreeBSD 3.5.1 works.
How-To-Repeat: New install session.

Is this still a problem with FreeBSD 4.5? I installed 4.5 on numerous
Dell Optiplex systems without a problem (although I never tried your
specific model). Please let us know if this is still an issue.
