Description Vladimir Tchoukharev 2001-08-03 12:40:01 UTC
RELENG_4_3 is described well in one part of the handbook, but in FAQ it is
not mentioned and -STABLE seem to be advertized as a secure branch. At least
in the local newsgroups I see many references to FAQ along with this beaten
question "is STABLE stable".
I tried to make a patch for /usr/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.sgml
Some bad links to the handbook are also changed.

Unfortunately I cannot make new docs at the moment to check syntax and all -
something happend to my jade recently, reinstalling docproj (with depends)
does not help. Take more care therefore.

Yes, I know about -BEET vs. -RUTABAGA battle :) feel free to change.
Also please clean my English up, I'm not a good speaker I guess.

There is one more ready patch for FAQ with some style changes,
mainly unification of references to -STABLE and alike.

There is a need to patch handbook too - it has two parts with references
to tags, only one is corrected (in respect to RELENG_4_3). I also see
here people write "there is no such a tag acording to the handbook".
I think I can prepare a patch and send it if this PR will find someone
interested.

I have one more ready patch for FAQ with some style changes,
mainly unification of references to -STABLE and alike.

Bets regards,
