installing FreeBSD 4.3 from an iso image, the system hangs when the probin for devices window appear.
The PC es composed by P III 733 Mhz, 192 Mb DRAM, Voodoo 3000 AGP, AIC 7880, GigaByte MotherBorad with Via Chipset, SB 128 PCI sound card, CD-ROM generic 52X and CD writer TEAC SCSI model 58R

How-To-Repeat: the problem persist when reboot the PC

Before the system gets to the 'probing devices' screen, it should 
have displayed a menu with three choices for you, one of which 
is 'visual configuration' or similar.  Can you try choosing this 
'visual configuration', and then disabling (deleting) all devices 
which you know that you do not have in your system, so that there 
are no IRQ/DMA/whatever conflicts during probing?
