State Changed From-To: open->feedback Before the system gets to the 'probing devices' screen, it should have displayed a menu with three choices for you, one of which is 'visual configuration' or similar. Can you try choosing this 'visual configuration', and then disabling (deleting) all devices which you know that you do not have in your system, so that there are no IRQ/DMA/whatever conflicts during probing?
