P-III 733, 3Com 5-9-Combo ISA NIC.
When system is boot, his detect ep0 EPROM.
After this put message ep0: Ethernet address 00:00:00:00:00:00
and does not work more, and ignore <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Del>...

How-To-Repeat: Insert 3c509-combo ISA NIC with UTP and try to boot.

Using the DOS floppy disk you got with the card to disable
Plug And Play should fix this.
