I can't unlock the desktop after pressing the lock symbol on the KDE 2.2
desktop. On console I get these messages:

kdeinit: setgroups: Operations not permitted
kcheckpass: authentication failure

Fix:

chmod u+s `which kcheckpass`
How-To-Repeat:
- install KDE 2.2
- lauch KDE and press the lock symbol on the right
- try to give your password
