It seems wjv@FreeBSD.org has updated the ntop port to 2.0 plus changed maintainer to himself. Maybe you should consider his port and send send him a mail if you miss anything? I've updated the net/ntop port to reflect the latest stable version of
ntop - 2.0.
The port submitted in this PR is based on ntop's current development
tree, from which a snapshot is released on (I believe) a daily basis.
It *could* therefore make sense to have both net/ntop (for the stable
releases) and net/ntop-devel (to track ntop's current tree
periodically), but I'll leave that up to the PR's Originator to decide.
