Description Charlie & 2002-02-06 12:30:02 UTC
Build of GNumeric/Bonobo has hidden dependancy on Orbit.

Fails in configuration in Bonobo while trying to build GNumeric from the
ports tree.

Fix:

Bonobo's configure quit just below some ORBit: no (Orbit > x.y.z) required.
Trying to restart build by "make" in gnumeric or bonobo's dirs failed.

I installed ORBit by hand from ports tree, ran make in GNumeric's dir again,
and the build continued.
How-To-Repeat: Install 4.4 base, CVSUP portstree install math/Gnumeric port (just Bonobo may also work)

Do you have a fully up-to-date ports tree? Both bonobo and gnumeric have
dependency knobs that include USE_GNOMELIBS, of which ORBit is a dependency
in of itself.

Please provide a full error log, since futher debugging is going to be
impossible otherwise.
