Summary: Binary version of screen-3.9.11_1 in ports pegs CPU
Product: Ports & Packages Reporter: Russell Briggs <russb>
Component: Individual Port(s)Assignee: Cy Schubert <cy>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: Latest
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description Russell Briggs 2002-06-18 21:10:01 UTC
When using sysinstall or pkg_add -r to install the screen-3.9.11_1 port, the binary that is installed, when run, causes the CPU for the "screen" process to peg itself at 100%.

Fix:

pkg_delete screen-3.9.11_1
cd /usr/ports/misc/screen; make clean; make install
How-To-Repeat: When installing the system from CD, select the "screen-3.9.11_1" package and install (sysinstall)
-or-
#pkg_add -r screen

Is this still a problem or is this PR just long-forgotten?
