Summary: esound-0.2.28 missing from servers
Product: Ports & Packages Reporter: JJ Behrens <jjinux>
Component: Individual Port(s)Assignee: freebsd-gnome (Nobody) <gnome>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: Latest
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description JJ Behrens 2002-06-19 22:20:01 UTC
After cvsup'ing my ports, I tried to build esound, however it was not able to find the correct version on any of the servers. It appears that esound-0.2.28 is missing from all of the mirrors--only esound-0.2.26 is currently available. I apologize if I have caught you guys in the middle of an upload!

Fix:

I was able to download the latest version of esound from freshmeat.net and put it in /usr/ports/distfiles/gnome to work around this problem.
How-To-Repeat: Cvsup ports and try to build esound.

This is a known issue. I was able to fetch it this morning, but apparently,
some of the mirrors are having problems. I'll put up a local mirror site in
the meantime.
