Bug 39618

Summary: /etc/security script doesn't return a kernel log message if no dmesg.today

Description Felipe Gasper 2002-06-21 14:20:01 UTC
I noticed that in my last daily security check e-mail, the kernel log section wasn't there. I checked the /etc/security script, and it's supposed to have something in the e-mail to the effect of "No kernel log today" or something, but it's not in the e-mail.

Fix:

Not sure- should be fairly simple, though, since it should just involve the security check script?
How-To-Repeat: Have an empty daily kernel log and run /etc/security
