I needed autogen for a port i was working on, and i found a problem where it 
'hangs' during build, after speaking to a few people i found out that i'm not 
the only one who's had problems it's been broken for months for some people, 
either way, this patch will fix that problem and it (shouldn't) impact the 
people it worked for.
