Description Jamie Hermans 2002-09-18 22:50:02 UTC
	No one else seems to have jumped in to update, and Alan is
	more than busy with KDE ... so here goes. Hope I'm not
	stepping on anyone's toes... but I wanted the newest
	version.
	 * added dependency for p5-HTML-Parser
	 * removed spamproxy stuff
	 * re-diff'ed DCC (Distributed Checksum Clearinghouse)
	    patch against the current version
	 * adjusted pkg-plist accordingly

Thanks. Please send me the patch as an attachment so I don't have
tab issues and I'll take it from here.

taken from spamd/README.spamd:

If you plan to use Razor or Pyzor, please note that they both rely on their
external configuration files in ~/.razor and ~/.pyzor being readable, and Razor
will try to write to a log file in ~/.razor/razor-agent.log that must be
writable (Razor will complain about 'unblessed references' in this case). You
may find the -H switch to spamd to be useful; it allows you to set a 'helper
home directory' that will be used as $HOME when external helpers like Razor,
Pyzor and DCC are run.

The port may/should be adjusted for this - but I'm not sure where I should
make -H point to ... /etc/mail/spamassassin or maybe create a directory
/usr/local/etc/razor (or pyzor)? I'll leave this to the maintainer to decide.

Sure thing...

(P.S. please see the followup I posted re: 'unblessed references' from
Razor)

State Changed
From-To: open->closed

Committed a simpler patch, as I didn't have time to research what was going
on with the dcc-related code changes.
