The person who have written the install routine should be deported to GuLAG now, soon as h.

Fix: 

Rewrite entire install-procedure. Allocate 2K of memory so that settings are REMEMBERED from shet to sheet. Replace all stupidity.

I'vfe been into comoting for 15 years iin a numerous OS'es. While I know FreeBSD is a breeze USING, some nobrainer must be in charge of the INSTALL. Delete him. Now, format the person. reinstall whatever makes him function.
How-To-Repeat:       As mentioned + replace him with someone who has score higher that 3 of 10 ob a common scale of common intelligence.
