Description Joerg Retzlaff 2002-11-20 15:20:01 UTC
Dell Inspiron 7000 (notebook) does not
recognize PC-CARDs after resume from suspended mode:

Nov 13 13:54:10 pcjrl apmd: resumed at 20021113 13:54:10
Nov 13 13:54:10 pcjrl pccardd[307]: sio1: PC CARD (56Kbps Fax Modem PC Card) removed.
Nov 13 13:54:15 pcjrl pccardd[307]: No card in database for "(null)"("(null)")

In my kernel config I have (different from GENERIC):
device apm0 at nexus? flags 0x20
options PCIC_RESUME_RESET
while the later has no effect.

Fix:

eject and re-insert PC-CARD
How-To-Repeat: on Dell Inspiron 7000 with APM enabled and PC-CARD inserted: suspend+resume
