Description Gabor SUVEG 2003-04-14 19:30:09 UTC
the xfree86 drop a core dump if i would config it with xf86cfg, or if i make
a config by hand. i was test with ati and r128 driver too.
on this notebook i was probe 4.3xfree with linux without core dump, or problem.

Fix: sorry dont know now.
How-To-Repeat: only start the xfree with this ati card :)

Could you test using the new XFree86-4-Server-snap port to see if the
problem might have been fixed in current CVS?

Feedback timeout (1 month). Please note also that this is a Mach64 card, not
an r128. "ati" is the driver to be using. If you continue to have problems,
please also submit your XF86Config, since that appears to be the problem to me
after looking through it again (it's not a core dump in the log, it's classic
"no screens found").
