I forgot to note that both of the patches need to be deleted.

On my 4-STABLE machine, the port won't build without those 
patches. <time.h> is necessary on my 4-STABLE machine. Does 
it cause compilation problems in -CURRENT if <time.h> is 
included? 

If it's harmless on -CURRENT, then I'll commit the original 
patch. If <time.h> shouldn't be included under 5, it needs 
to be included conditionally under 4.
