The GTK20 port is troublesome on systems using Xft1
(Xft support will be off by default). This patch provides
an option to FORCE Xft support into any build.

Fix: Here is the patch, please apply it inside the gtk20 port (it patches the Makefile)

This will not be committed.  There is not a sufficient need for this patch, 
nor is it clear it will provide any real benefit.
