Bug 57818

After going over the usual steps to update this laptop from 4.9-PRERELEASE to
10-09-03's  -stable I got a kernel panic when booting the new kernel. I didn't
change anything in the kernel config or anywhere else for that matter.
This laptop has been running sucessfully several versions of -stable over the
last year.
buildworld, buildkernel and friends were 100% sucessfull.

I presented this situation in the freebsd-stable mailing list and Kevin
Oberman <oberman@es.net> suggested me to build and try to boot up a
kernel without apm. His sugestion was a good one so now the kernel boots up
successfully. I guess this could indicate a problem with apm.
